The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has processed nearly 800,000 voter registration applications since the enlistment period resumed in October for the November 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).
According to Comelec data released Tuesday, a running total of 768,263 applications were received nationwide from 20 October through 30 November and of that total, 600,275 applicants registered for the village polls, while 167,988 registered for the SK elections.
Among adult voters (18 years old and above), 211,197 were new registrants. Additionally, 227,115 individuals applied for transfer from other cities or municipalities, 47,886 applied for transfers within the same locality, and 31,375 applied for reactivation.
