Globe Telecom is reinforcing the Philippines’ digital foundation through expanded infrastructure and strategic enterprise innovations, a commitment reflected in its robust third-quarter 2025 results. These efforts align with the government’s accelerating Digital Philippines agenda.

The company reported a 13 percent surge in Corporate Data revenues quarter-on-quarter, driven by rising demand for key digital economy enablers, including connectivity, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), and data center solutions.

To support this digital transformation, Globe’s joint venture with ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) and Ayala Corporation, known as ST Telemedia Global Data Centers (Philippines), has commenced operations at two new facilities -- STT Fairview 1 and the subsequent Cavite 2 site. These centers are built to provide substantial capacity for hyperscale, artificial intelligence, and enterprise workloads.

Complementing its enterprise growth, Globe is extending its nationwide connectivity footprint, now reaching 96.13 percent of the Philippine population.

The company is also focused on inclusive innovation through a partnership with unconnected.org, a U.K.-based social enterprise dedicated to closing the global digital divide.

Together, Globe and unconnected.org are working to extend internet access to remote schools and Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs) across the country, empowering students, teachers, and residents with digital tools for education and livelihood.

“Globe’s infrastructure investments and enterprise solutions are vital to building the nation’s digital backbone,” said Carl Cruz, Globe’s president and CEO. “As businesses and institutions embrace digital transformation, Globe stands as their trusted partner, enabling innovation, cybersecurity readiness, and inclusive growth aligned with the government’s Digital Philippines vision.”

Through strategic partnerships and responsible innovation, Globe said that it continues to power a digitally enabled and economically resilient Philippines, bridging digital divides while ensuring the nation is ready for an AI- and data-driven future.
