CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A targeted anti-drug operation by the Limay Municipal Police Station (MPS) led to the seizure of P399,500 worth of shabu and the arrest of two suspects on Monday afternoon, 17 November, according to the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
The suspects, whose identities remain undisclosed with pending formal charges, now face allegations of violating Sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act No. 9165). They are currently detained at Limay MPS for processing.
According to the report of Bataan Police Director, PCOL Marites A. Salvadora stated the buy-bust operation was conducted in Barangay Kitang II, Bo. Luz, recovered 58.75 grams of the illegal substance during the 3:10 p.m. raid.
Salvadora praised the operation’s success, emphasizing, “This seizure prevents these drugs from reaching our communities and destroying lives.”
“Let this serve as a warning: We will relentlessly pursue those endangering public safety,” she added, underscoring the provincial police’s intensified collaboration with national agencies to dismantle drug networks and uphold Bataan’s “drug-free” vision.
The bust marks the latest victory in the province’s sustained crackdown on illegal drugs, aligning with broader national efforts to combat organized crime. Authorities urged citizens to report suspicious activities via hotlines or local stations.
