BDO Unibank Inc. (BDO) and SM Supermalls are bringing back Pamaskong Handog, their annual holiday tribute to overseas Filipinos (OFs) and their families, with events scheduled on 6 December at SM City Sto. Tomas and 13 December at SM City Laoag.
Running for over a decade now, Pamaskong Handog began as BDO’s international outreach initiative for OF communities in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Italy and the Middle East.
It has since evolved into a nationwide celebration that strengthens BDO’s long-standing Alagang Kabayan advocacy, which supports OFs through reliable remittance services and financial solutions such as Kabayan Savings, BDO Pay, Kabayan Loans and Cash Agad.
‘Abot ang pangarap kasama ang BDO at SM’
This year’s theme, “Abot ang pangarap kasama ang BDO at SM,” highlights both companies’ commitment to helping Filipino families achieve long-term financial goals — from homebuilding and business ventures to education and retirement planning.
The 2025 program, which will take place on 6 December in SM City Sto. Tomas and on 13 December in SM City Laoag, features returning BDO ambassador Piolo Pascual, along with lifestyle personality Small Laude and the comedy group Beks Battalion, who will join activities, games and community engagements prepared for attendees.
BDO said Pamaskong Handog remains an important touchpoint for honoring the sacrifices of OFs and reconnecting families during the holiday season, reinforcing the Bank’s focus on financial inclusion and customer-centric community initiatives.
