Bituing Maningning: The Brigiding Slaysian Royale Fashion Showcase will be mounted on 22 to 23 November, featuring drag queen Brigiding’s all iconic looks on Drag Race Philippines Slaysian Royale. The exhibit offers an intimate journey through each piece, telling the story behind every design and celebrating artistry, community, and collaboration through the work of Brigiding, the first-ever winner of Drag Race Philippines Slaysian Royale.

A first of its kind, Bituing Maningning invites audiences to experience the luminous universe behind Brigiding’s iconic looks from Slaysian Royale and select pieces from Drag Race Philippines Season 1. In addition, the showcase will also feature special looks from fellow Slaysian Royale queens and winners of Drag Race Philippines. The exhibit is more than a showcase of outfits; it’s a living tribute to collaboration, creativity, and the enduring Filipino spirit that fuels the art of drag.

Just like stars forged through pressure and time, every piece in this showcase carries the story of transformation — from imagination to execution, from struggle to triumph. Visitors will encounter designs that reveal the passion and precision of a community of artists, designers, and dreamers who helped bring Brigiding’s vision to life.

“Bituing Maningning is more than my story. It’s our story. It’s a love letter to the people who make drag possible: The collaborators, the creators, and the community, those who keep creating, keep believing, and always remind us to shine,” says Brigiding.

Beyond its artistry, Bituing Maningning also extends its light through compassion and partnership. In collaboration with Angat Buhay, a portion of the proceeds from the showcase will go toward supporting its ongoing community programs and relief efforts in Cebu, continuing the shared mission of empowerment, expression and hope.

“Through this showcase, I want people to see that drag is not just a performance. It’s passion, storytelling and survival. It’s how we turn our truths as queer artists into art and our art into pure radiance,” Brigiding shares.

Bituing Maningning shines as a tribute to Filipino artistry: bold, intricate, expressive and ever-evolving.

Viewing will be from 5 p.m. to 12 midnight on 22 November and 1 p.m. to 12 midnight on 23 November at 36 Broadway Avenue corner 9th Street, New Manila, Quezon City. Tickets are available now at bituingmaningning.veent.net.
