The Bases Conversion and Development Authority is earmarking P150 million to redevelop the 8,000-square-meter Poro Point Baywalk in La Union into a sports and recreation complex to attract more visitors and give the community a vibrant shared space by the sea.
The project, which is in partnership with the Poro Point Management Corporation and the Department of Public Works and Highways, is expected to generate jobs, boost local tourism and create livelihood opportunities for small and medium enterprises in the province.
