Pilots and crew members of PAF Angel 211 arrives at Villamor Air Base

The remains of the four personnel of the ill-fated Super Huey Helicopter 211 of the 505th Search and Rescue Group of the Philippine Air Force are given arrival honors at the Villamore Air Base in Pasay City on 06 November 2025. Also known as Angel 211, the helicopter crashed in Loreto, Agusan del Sur, on 04 November. Air Force pilot Captain Paulie Dumagan, co-pilot 2Lt Royce Louis Camigla, Sgt. John Christopher Golfo, and Airman First Class Ericson Merico were given arrival honors and were awarded the Distinguished Aviation Cross for their participation during the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) mission for victims of Typhoon Tino. The two other servicemen, Airman Ameer Khaidar T. Apion and Sergeant Yves B. Sijub, were flown to their respective provinces in Mindanao earlier today.
