Globe Telecom reaffirmed its commitment to education and innovation by co-presenting the International Design Conference (IDC) 2025 on 26 September 2025, a major gathering of the country’s creative and academic leaders focused on bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry needs.
Held in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry’s Design Center of the Philippines, IDC 2025 spotlighted Filipino creativity and innovation, featuring an exclusive Globe-hosted session with world-renowned author and speaker Joe Pine, attended by 76 of the country’s top design students. In celebration of Teachers’ Month, Globe also honored educators who have mentored these young creatives, recognizing their pivotal role in nurturing the nation’s growing creative economy.
“This partnership reflects our belief that creativity thrives when students and educators are equally empowered,” said Jonathan Cristobal, Director of B2B Marketing at Globe. “Through Globe and DTI’s Design Center, this milestone event aims to build a future-ready education ecosystem, where innovation, mentorship, and opportunity are accessible.”
Globe’s participation in IDC 2025 underscores its broader mission to empower Filipino creative talent through technology, connecting design students with global thought leaders while promoting digital transformation in education. The initiative also highlights Globe Business’ role as a trusted partner in supporting academic institutions, educators, and students in the digital era.
Looking ahead, Globe plans to expand its partnerships with the design and education sectors through innovation workshops, mentorship programs, and access to global creative networks, reinforcing its vision of a connected, future-ready learning ecosystem for Filipino educators and creatives alike.
