Traditional weaver from Tawi-Tawi

Rohainie Amendo weaves traditional mats (banig) made out of dried pandan leaves at their booth at the National Arts and Crafts Fair in SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. Amendo grew up in a family of weavers in the island municipality of Mapun in Tawi-Tawi. She learned the craft by watching her grandmother create intricate patterns in weaving.
