CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Six wanted suspects were arrested in separate police operations across Bulacan on 15 October, for charges ranging from attempted homicide to frustrated murder, according to reports from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
Among those apprehended was a 27-year-old man arrested in Barangay Muzon, San Jose del Monte City, on 14 October. He was wanted for attempted homicide (Criminal Case No. 2025-SJ-0507) following a joint operation led by local police and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Maritime Group.
In Meycauayan City, two suspects were arrested for violating a local ordinance and slight physical injuries. Meanwhile, Pandi police arrested an individual for acts of lasciviousness, and Calumpit authorities detained a suspect for two counts of Batas Pambansa Blg. 22 (BP 22 or the Bouncing Checks Law).
A separate operation by the Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company led to the arrest of a person linked to frustrated murder.
Bulacan Police Director Police Colonel (PCol) Angel L. Garcillano said all suspects were taken to respective police stations for processing and case preparation.
"Patuloy ang aming pagsisikap na siguraduhing walang makakatakas sa pananagutan—lalo na ang mga nagtatago sa ilalim ng batas," he said.
Police Brigadier General (PBGen) Rogelio Peñones Jr., director of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), reinforced the PNP’s mandate to strengthen coordination among its units in curbing criminality across the region.
“The series of arrests in Bulacan proves the effectiveness of police-community collaboration. We will ensure justice and public safety remain at the forefront of all operations,” Peñones added, commending the Bulacan PPO’s dedication in carrying out these efforts.
