Zayn Malik and BLACKPINK's Jisoo released their first duet, Eyes Closed, on 10 October 2025 — a beautiful love ballad that's equal parts heartbreak and hope — a surprise that sent fandoms into orbit. 

Zayn and Jisoo are shown sleeping in separate pods aboard a future spaceship near the beginning of the video. Both characters are depicted as emotionally damaged, dealing with the aftermath of lost love.

As the mv progresses, they converse via screens and telephones, gradually closing the distance between them. They eventually reconnect in their pods and drift toward Saturn, symbolizing healing and cosmic connection. 

Eyes Closed is a pop ballad about loving someone despite their past. Zayn's deep tone merges seamlessly with Jisoo's ethereal vocals, resulting in an intimate yet vast soundscape. The song is Jisoo's first since her solo EP Amortage, and Zayn's comeback to music after a peaceful period on his farm.

Meanwhile, Jisoo posted behind-the-scenes images on Instagram, depicting private moments with Zayn, including selfies, laughter, and quiet conversations on the sci-fi set. Then, before the release, Zayn brought Jisoo flowers, which warmed fans' hearts and hinted at the two musicians' true affinity.
