Budget airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) is expanding flights to Bangkok, Da Nang, Melbourne, and Sapporo in time for the holiday season, giving passengers more options and flexibility for their international trips.
The Gokongwei-led firm said on Monday that flights between Cebu and Bangkok (Don Mueang) will rise to four times weekly starting 26 October, with an added Sunday service. From 28 October, the Manila-Da Nang route will operate 10 times weekly, offering twice-daily flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Daily flights between Manila and Sapporo will begin on 10 December, while Manila-Melbourne services will increase to five times weekly starting 12 December with an added Friday flight.
“These additional frequencies reflect CEB’s ongoing commitment to provide more accessibility, flexibility, and convenience to our valued passengers. As travel demand continues to rise, these expanded services allow us to better connect Filipinos to the rest of the world and welcome more visitors to the Philippines,” CEB president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said.
CEB launched its Manila-Da Nang direct flights in December 2023, Cebu-Bangkok service in October 2024, and Manila-Sapporo route in January this year. The carrier has been flying to Melbourne for seven years.
The airline operates 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates.
