The ₱5 billion worth of Sinisian Lemery Batangas Port & Industrial Park (SLBPIP), a logistics and supply chain hub located south of Manila, is now fully completed and operational, ready to serve its locators, the firm’s top official said on Thursday.
SLBPIP Chief Executive Officer Ferdinand Co announced that the more than 7-hectare industrial estate features three major components: a port, a cement silo, and a fuel depot. Development of the park began after the pandemic and was fast-tracked last year.
Strategically located in Sinisian, Lemery, the hub offers convenient access for trade and logistics.
“We are now fully operating and actively serving our locators,” Co said.
Further, he said the modern industrial park is designed to deliver high-quality services and value-creating solutions to its clients.
At the heart of the estate are its deep-water port facilities, which cater to locators’ industrial port and warehousing needs for import, export, and distribution. The port can accommodate both international and domestic vessels with a maximum size of 50,000 deadweight tons (DWT).
Key port services include efficient cargo handling, expert pilot and tugboat assistance for safe vessel navigation, chandling services for vessel provisions and supplies, bunkering, water tendering, ship agency, cargo surveying, hauling and trucking, and full warehousing and warehouse management services.
As a hub for import, export, and transshipment, SLBPIP also features bulk storage facilities for cement, oil, chemicals, and other petroleum products, as well as warehouses for storing bulk cargo.
Meanwhile, SLBPIP’s sister company, Lemery Cement Silo Tank Corporation, operates a bulk cement and slag terminal with manufacturing and blending facilities. It supplies Portland Cement (Type I and II), blended Portland cement (Types IP, IT, IS), and Granulated Ground Blast Furnace Slag.
Cement is available in bulk, 40kg bags, and tonner bags, while slag cement is offered in bulk and tonner bags. The facility has a production capacity of approximately 2 million tons of cement and slag per year.
“We specialize in delivering high-quality cement and slag, ensuring durability and strength for all your construction needs,” said Co.
Another sister company, Lemery Oil Terminal Corp., operates the fuel depot, which is open to all independent oil and fuel importers, with oil tank silos for gasoline and diesel available for long-term lease.
