Reese Allyson Ng stayed steady under pressure with an even-par 72 on Thursday to grab a share of third place heading into the final round of the AJGA Northwestern Holding Junior Open at Sylvania Country Club in Ohio.
Ng was 1-under at the turn after a lone birdie on the par-4 6th. She gave one back on 14, rolled in another birdie on the 16th, but stumbled with a bogey on 18 to finish level for the day.
Now sitting at 3-under after 54 holes, Ng remains in the hunt — though she’ll need a big final round to catch runaway leader Carter, who holds a commanding 7-shot advantage.
