Star jungler Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno credited his teammate Kiel "Oheb" Soriano for Team Liquid PH's reverse sweep over ONIC in the Group Stage of Mid Season Cup 2025 this Friday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Team Liquid PH lost the opening game against the MPL Indonesia champion in the best-of-three series, putting them on the brink of defeat. In Game 2, the Filipinos mounted a comeback that started with a lord steal from Oheb's perfectly timed Spear of Destruction.
For KarlTzy, it was a key moment that allowed them to win the series.
"We lost the early game, but when Oheb stole the lord, it gave us the momentum and hype," KarlTzy said after the match.
It was in the same match where KarlTzy once again showcased his mastery of Lancelot, using and winning with his trademark hero in Game 2. According to KarlTzy, Lancelot fits the current meta given the right build, while Aamon, who was used by Kairi twice, also has potential.
"I think Lancelot is OP (overpowered) right now, especially with the semi-tank, semi-damage build. For Aamon, I have not tried him yet, but I see the potential," KarlTzy stated.
