More than P700,000 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from two suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Rodriguez, Rizal Tuesday night.
The arrested suspects were identified by the alias Jen, 29, with trucking business; and alias Mark, 21, gym intructor–both residents of Barangay San Rafael, in this town.
The two suspects were arrested in an operation conducted by operatives of the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station along Marang Road, Barangay Burgos, also in this town, at about 10:20 p.m.
Recovered from the suspects were four pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu approximately 113 grams, with a standard drug price of P768,400.00; a digital weighing scale and sling bag; P1,000 buy-bust money; and driver's license of alias Jen.
The suspects are currently detained at the custodial facility of Rodriguez Municipal Police Station while facing charges for violation with Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
