3 men face QC gun raps
Seized from his possession was a Glock 23 .40-caliber pistol with a magazine loaded with seven live rounds.

Three men were arrested for illegal possession of firearms in separate operations by the Talipapa Police Station (PS 3) and Novaliches Police Station (PS 4) of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).
QCPD acting chief Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said the first arrest occurred when PS 3 operatives led by Lt. Col. Christopher Francis Siriban apprehended a suspect identified as alias “Eulogio,” 84, a resident of Barangay North Fairview, following a vehicular accident along Quirino Highway corner Joaquin Street, Barangay Baesa.
While preparing to tow the suspect’s vehicle, officers noticed a firearm on the dashboard. When asked to present proper documentation, the suspect failed to do so and was subsequently arrested.
Seized from his possession was a Glock 23 .40-caliber pistol with a magazine loaded with seven live rounds.
Verification through the Investigation Solution Automatic Verification (ISAV) system revealed that the suspect had prior cases of reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property in October 2021 and November 2023.
Meanwhile, PS 4 operatives under Lt. Col. Aljun Belista arrested two other suspects, identified as alias “Jomar,” 26, and alias “Benjamin,” 41, both residents of Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches.
Silvio said the two were caught around 3:30 a.m. on 19 July along Katipunan Street corner East Los Angeles Street, Barangay San Bartolome. The suspects, riding a black Yamaha Aerox motorcycle, suddenly stopped near a Papa Burger outlet, eliciting suspicion.
When approached by the officers, alias “Benjamin” was seen holding a revolver in a black holster, which he quickly handed to alias “Jomar.” The officers ordered both men to lie face down on the pavement. When asked for documentation, neither suspect could present any, leading to their arrest.
Confiscated from them were a Smith & Wesson .38-caliber revolver loaded with six live rounds, the Yamaha Aerox motorcycle, a sling bag, and a gun holster.
ISAV records showed that alias “Benjamin” had a prior case for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) in June 2025.
Alias “Eulogio” has been charged with violating RA 10591, or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition. The same charges will be filed against “Jomar” and “Benjamin” before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
“The swift response of our personnel demonstrates our unwavering commitment to public safety,” Silvio said.
