Police arrested two most wanted persons in separate operations conducted by the Rizal Police Provincial Office on Thursday afternoon.

The first suspect, a 34-year-old resident of Barangay Sta. Ana, Taytay, Rizal known as alias Gie, was apprehended in Cabatuan, Purok 3, Calbayog City, Samar.

He was arrested by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by the Antipolo City Regional Trial Court Branch 141 for rape.

In Cainta, police captured alias Tons, a 61-year-old resident of Barangay San Isidro, in this town.

He was wanted for robbery based on a warrant issued by the Antipolo City Regional Trial Court Branch 100.

Both suspects are now in the custodial facility of the police station that has arrested them, while the warrant will be returned to the issuing court for the commitment order.
