The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) opened slightly higher on 11 July 2025, gaining 4.54 points or 0.07 percent to reach 6,467.74.
DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (PLUS) remained the most actively traded stock, posting a total value turnover of P275.47 million despite sliding by 3.42 percent to P38.15. International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICT) followed with P56.50 million in trades, down by 1.93 percent. Meanwhile, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) was among the day’s early gainers, rising 2.25 percent to P122.70.
Among top percentage gainers in early trade were Steniel Manufacturing Corporation (STN), up by 15 percent; SOCResources, Inc. (SOC), which climbed 14.67 percent; and Manila Mining Corporation "A" (MA), which added 9.62 percent.
The day’s biggest early loser was Vivant Corporation (VVT), which dropped 17 percent to P18.26. It was followed by Basic Energy Corporation (BSC), down by 4 percent, and DFNN, Inc. (DFNN), which lost 3.55 percent.
As of 10:27 AM, the peso stood at P56.40 to the US dollar.
