Scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected to affect Metro Manila and nearby provinces throughout Friday, 11 July 2025, according to the latest forecast from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 5:00 AM regional weather bulletin, PAGASA said Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, and Cavite will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, while the rest of Central Luzon (excluding Aurora) and CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds from the southwest will prevail, becoming southerly by evening. Coastal waters are expected to remain slight to moderate.
Shortly before the forecast was released, PAGASA also issued Thunderstorm Advisory No. 35 at 4:50 AM, warning of moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds over parts of Pampanga, Metro Manila, and Tarlac within two hours. These conditions were already observed in Zambales (Botolan, Cabangan), Bataan (Orion, Limay, Mariveles), and Bulacan (Malolos, Bulakan, Guiguinto), and are likely to persist and spread to nearby areas.
