A female drug suspect listed as the top 4 most wanted person of the Eastern Police District was arrested during a manhunt operation in Pasig City on Wednesday night.
The 60-year-old suspect, identified only by the alias Baby, was apprehended by operatives of the Pasig City Police Station's Intelligence Section along Barangay Kalawaan, Pasig City at about 6 p.m.
She was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Jennifer Pilar of Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 164 for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Detailed records disclosed that the suspect, together with her partner, alias Junchang, had been previously apprehended in possession of illegal drugs through a buy-bust operation sometime in May 2017 at Barangay Minuyan III, Bulacan.
The weight of confiscated illegal drugs known as shabu is 3.1 grams with street value worth of P7,000.
The arrested suspect was placed under the custody of Marikina City Police Station while waiting for the commitment order from the issuing court. NEIL ALCOBER
