EVRO users show off the app’s new Station Finder feature, which helps locate nearby EV charging points with a live map view.
Evro just made it easier for electric vehicle (EV) owners to find a place to charge.
The local e-mobility company has rolled out a new feature in its mobile app called the “Station Finder,” which helps users locate over 240 public charging stations registered with the Department of Energy across the country. Whether it’s an Evro partner station or not, the app shows what’s nearby in real time.
To make things more user-friendly, the new map interface comes with color-coded pins. Green means the Evro partner station is available, red means it’s currently in use, and gray marks either incompatible stations, ones that aren’t working, or locations that aren’t part of the Evro network. It’s a simple system that lets users know what’s up at a glance.
The app also includes smart filters that allow users to sort by charger type, vehicle compatibility, and real-time availability. If you’re driving a specific EV model or only looking for fast chargers, you can fine-tune your search so you don’t waste time scrolling through irrelevant options. For partner stations, the app even lets users access additional services without having to switch apps.
This update also brings some helpful extras. There’s now quicker access to FAQs and help resources, along with more ways to personalize the app through advanced filtering options.
Evro says the Station Finder is part of its bigger push to grow the local EV charging network and make EV use more practical across the Philippines. They’re working with various charge point operators to bring more stations online as more Filipinos make the shift to electric.
The Evro app is free on both the App Store and Google Play.
