A 49-year-old tricycle driver tagged as a most wanted person in Rizal was arrested during a manhunt operation in Angono on Friday afternoon.
Authorities identified the suspect only by the alias “Dy.” He was arrested in Barangay Mahabang Parang at around 12:40 p.m.
The suspect was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Binangonan Regional Trial Court Branch 68 for allegedly violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The Rizal Police Provincial Office said the arrest was part of its ongoing campaign against criminality to maintain peace and order in the province.
