Discovery Primea, in collaboration with Canada Beef, launched on 6 June at Flame of Discovery Primea in Makati City Fire & Flavor: A Culinary Collaboration — a month-long culinary treat featuring the bold character and quality of Canadian beef. The launch was a gathering of Alberta agricultural officials, media and key players from the culinary and hospitality industries.
“This isn’t just a launch — it’s a celebration of shared values, craft, and the joy of great food,” said host Issa Litton.
Flame’s executive chef Luis Chikiamko crafted a menu that showcased the richness and versatility of Canadian beef, brought to life through open-flame cooking and the Josper oven.
David Pardo Ayala, Discovery Primea’s general manager, emphasized the synergy between Flame and Canada Beef, while The Honourable RJ Sigurdson, Alberta’s Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, spoke about sustainable ranching and global partnerships. Canada Beef’s vice president for Export Market Development, Albert Eringfeld, and Alberta rancher Brodie Haugan also addressed guests, highlighting the values and precision behind Canadian beef production.
Notable guests included representatives from the Embassy of Canada and Alberta’s agriculture office, along with acclaimed Filipino chef JP Anglo and leading lifestyle media. Celebrating a shared commitment to quality and culture, Fire & Flavor menu is available from 7 June to 7 July at Discovery Primea.
