Mapua and UST lead June 2025 architecture licensure exams

More than 1,300 examinees are now a step closer to joining the country’s architecture profession after passing this year’s Licensure Examination for Architects.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 1,352 out of 2,075 examinees successfully passed the exam conducted by the Board of Architecture.

The examination was administered on 11 and 13 June 2025 across various testing centers in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Results were released three working days after the last day of testing.

Mapua University Manila led the list of top performing schools for the June 2025 architecture licensure exam with a passing rate of 98.41 percent. It was followed by the University of Sto. Thomas with a passing rate of 94.17 percent.

Leading the roster are the top 10 examinees who achieved the highest scores in the June 2025 Licensure Examination for Architects:

In addition to the local exams, 78 out of 158 examinees passed the Special Professional Licensure Examination for Architects held in select testing centers overseas. Locations included Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, Doha in Qatar, Manama in Bahrain, Salmiya in Kuwait, and Singapore.
