Manila airport police officers received new tactical gear this week to boost safety and operational readiness, thanks to a donation from the Filipino-American Law Enforcement Organization (FALEO).
The equipment — consisting of tactical gloves, window breakers, zip cuffs, and other field essentials — was officially turned over on Wednesday, June 11, at the Airport Police Department (APD) K9 Facility in the General Aviation Area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
FALEO Col. Jhonabet Rivera and Lt. Martin Rivera led the handover, highlighting the initiative as part of their organization's long-standing cooperation and mutual respect with Philippine airport authorities.
APD Superintendent Levy Jose welcomed the donation, saying the new gear will enhance the officers' readiness and reflects the continued collaboration between Philippine and international law enforcement partners.
FALEO has supported MIAA-APD since 2014, alongside other law enforcement groups in the Philippines. The donation is part of FALEO's broader mission to strengthen global cooperation and improve the capabilities of law enforcement agencies.
