Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has officially launched the refreshed Mirage G4, keeping its reputation as a practical, stylish, and reliable sedan for everyday Filipino drivers. The update brings a blend of design improvements and modern convenience while retaining the same tried-and-tested core.
First introduced to the Philippine market in 2013, the Mirage G4 has consistently played a key role in MMPC’s overall sales. It quickly became a popular option for first-time car buyers and small families alike, thanks to its ease of ownership, fuel economy, and city-friendly size. The 2025 update aims to continue that tradition, this time with a sharper look and updated tech to match.
The refreshed Mirage G4 comes equipped with LED projector headlights and tail lights*, improving nighttime visibility and lending a cleaner, more premium appearance. All variants now ride on a new set of machine-finished two-tone alloy wheels, which enhance the car’s sporty and youthful image.
Performance-wise, the Mirage G4 keeps things simple and efficient. Under the hood is the same reliable 1.2-liter 3-cylinder MIVEC engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox for the GLX variant or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for both the GLX and top-spec GLS. Known for its low fuel consumption and dependable operation, the powertrain remains well-suited to the stop-and-go traffic of urban areas and longer provincial drives alike.
Interior updates focus on connectivity and comfort. All variants now feature wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing seamless access to navigation, music, and calls. The sedan also maintains a surprisingly spacious 450-liter trunk, enough room for groceries, travel bags, or baby gear. For those opting for the GLS variant, added features include a Keyless Operation System, a remote key with trunk opener, a rear-view camera for easier parking, and automatic climate control to keep the cabin comfortable in all conditions.
Safety has not been overlooked. Across all variants, MMPC provides essential standard safety features including dual SRS airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), and electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD). These additions ensure that the Mirage G4 continues to meet the expectations of modern car buyers when it comes to basic protection on the road.
A standout feature of the Mirage G4 is its local production. Assembled at Mitsubishi’s manufacturing plant in Santa Rosa, Laguna, the vehicle represents Filipino workmanship and contributes to the country’s automotive industry. Its availability as a locally built model also helps make after-sales support and parts more accessible for long-term ownership.
The Mirage G4 is offered in four exterior color options: Titanium Gray Metallic, Red Metallic, Cool Silver Metallic and White Solid, the latter available on an order basis.
The updated sedan comes in three variants. The Mirage G4 GLX 1.2G with manual transmission is priced at P793,000. Those who prefer an automatic can opt for the Mirage G4 GLX 1.2G CVT, priced at P841,000. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line GLS 1.2G CVT variant, which includes the full suite of added features, is priced at P937,000.
The 2025 Mirage G4 is now available at all authorized Mitsubishi dealerships across the Philippines. Interested buyers can visit their nearest showroom for a closer look or to schedule a test drive.
