Bosch expands Mindanao reach with certified battery specialists

Bosch Philippines has tapped three new distributors in Mindanao to make its car, motorcycle and truck batteries more available in the region. The new partners, Global Synergy Trade and Distribution, HE & Sons Corporation, and Philippine Reachwell Distribution Corporation, are now officially recognized as Bosch Battery Specialists.

These distributors received technical training from Bosch to ensure they’re equipped with the right skills in handling, storing and selling batteries. The move is part of Bosch’s bigger goal to bring its battery products closer to more Filipino motorists, especially in areas outside Metro Manila.

“This milestone strengthens our footprint in Mindanao and ensures more motorists gain access to our trusted battery technology through qualified local partners,” said Paulo Duarte, managing director of Bosch Philippines. “It reflects our long-standing commitment to innovation and reliability.”

The partnership was formalized during a signing event attended by Bosch leaders including Grace Mok, head of Bosch Battery Powerhouse for ASEAN; Yudj Astani, Battery technical trainer for ASEAN; and Abraham Jabola, Battery product manager for the Philippines.

Bosch, known globally for its battery innovations, offers products with strong starting power, long life, and reliable performance in all kinds of road and weather conditions. Their batteries use advanced technologies like AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) and EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) to meet modern vehicle demands.

“This is only the beginning. We are working toward building a nationwide network of certified Battery Specialists to better serve customers across the country,” Jabola said.

Aside from product support, Bosch also offers roadside help and battery testing in select areas, aiming to improve service convenience for

Filipino drivers.
