Taking a combination of alcohol and drugs may make a person do crazy things, especially when they are aboard a plane.
Chicago, USA to Munich, Germany on 18 April was arrested when the plane landed for causing a mid-air scandal. Art Institute of Chicago Director James Rondeau reportedly disrobed mid-flight.
Rondeau’s antic was the effect of the alcohol and prescription medication he took aboard the United Airlines plane, New York Post (NYP) reported.
Rondeau almost lost his job that pays him a million dollars per year. After an investigation by the museum followed by his public apology, he was not fired. Museum officials said they are confident he can carry on leading the institution, according to NYP.
A British Airways flight attendant, however, was not as lucky.
The male crew member went missing mid-flight of the double-decker Airbus A380 that was packed with 470 passengers and crew on 25 May while en route from San Francisco, USA to London, England.
A search of the superjumbo jet by colleagues found him inside the business class lavatory, naked and boogying, according to NYP.
“We think the guy popped pills when he was meant to be working,” one crew member told NYP.
They dressed the high man in first-class pajamas and strapped him down for the remainder of the 10-and-a-half hour journey.
At London’s Heathrow Airport, police hauled the party-loving flight attendant off the plane in a wheelchair. BA also suspended him.
