Liza preps Kalayaan celebration

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos announced that preparations for this year’s grand celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day, Kalayaan 2025, are now in their final stages.

“We’re putting the final touches on Kalayaan 2025, and it’s shaping up to be something truly special! From art exhibits and concerts to medical missions, job fairs, LIKHA 4, and, of course, the iconic Parada ng Kalayaan along Roxas Boulevard, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and be proud of!” the First Lady shared on her official Instagram account on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Mrs. Marcos convened members of the inter-agency task force at her office to review and coordinate the upcoming festivities, underscoring the importance of a well-organized and meaningful celebration.

She promised a spectacular lineup of events that will reflect the rich heritage and dynamic progress of the Philippines.

“Each event is a celebration of our heritage, our progress, and the spirit that keeps us moving forward… together. Tara! Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating Kalayaan!” she invited the people.

With a diverse program catering to all ages and interests, Kalayaan 2025 aims to unite Filipinos nationwide in commemorating freedom and national pride through culture, service and joyful festivities.
