The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) strengthened its community outreach efforts this week by providing emergency kits to a calamity-affected barangay in Tarlac and financial grants to two Metro Manila-based child care organizations.
On 26 May 2025, PCSO turned over medical assistive devices and 150 emergency kits to Barangay Oloybuaya in Tarlac through its Corporate Social Responsibility Program. The donation included oxygen tanks, weighing scales, and trauma bags. Barangay Councilor Darwin Palaganas, who received the items on behalf of the community, said the supplies would be vital during typhoons and other local emergencies.
In a separate event at the PCSO Executive Office in Mandaluyong City, two partner NGOs — Tahanan ng Pagmamahal Children’s Home in Pasig and the House of Refuge Foundation in Quezon City — received financial grants totaling P1.1 million. Tahanan ng Pagmamahal was awarded P800,000 as a third tranche of support, while House of Refuge received its first grant of P300,000 under the Institutional Partnership Program.
