Heavy rains halt UST’s Bacc Mass

The University of Santo Tomas has officially rescheduled its much-awaited Baccalaureate Mass to tomorrow, 31May, after heavy rains disrupted the original schedule.

The sudden downpour on 30 May forced the university to cut the event short, allowing only the graduating seniors to complete their processional before weather conditions made it unsafe to proceed.

According to reports fom Varsitarian, UST Secretary General Fr. Louie Coronel, O.P. confirmed the change, emphasizing that the decision was made with the safety and well-being of the students in mind.

The new schedule sets the Baccalaureate Mass at the UST Grandstand and Open Field, where the university hopes to give the Class of 2025 the full send-off they deserve.
