Mobile e-wallet GCash, through its lending arm Fuse Financing Inc., has entered the green financing space to help more Filipino households switch to solar energy without needing a credit card or traditional loan.

The Ayala-backed firm said Tuesday that it tapped Helios, a one-stop shop for residential solar solution, to make Tier 1 solar technology available through GGives, GCash’s installment payment feature.

“By making renewable energy more affordable through GGives, we are empowering more Filipinos to switch to clean energy without the financial burden,” Fuse president Tony Isidro said.

A key part of the initiative is the exclusive Triple Zero Solar Starter Package, which offers zero down payment, zero interest, and zero processing fees.

The offer aims to remove financial barriers that have slowed solar adoption despite the country’s abundant sunlight.

“We are thrilled to announce Helios’ groundbreaking partnership with GGives. This marks a significant milestone towards our mission to make solar power accessible and affordable to every home in the Philippines.

We look forward to delivering the highest quality and most reliable solar solutions to more Filipino homes through a partnership with GCash,” said Helios co-founder Alex Aronson.

Helios provides customized solar designs using premium hardware with 25-year production guarantees, enabling customers to save between 50 and 100 percent on electricity bills.
