
Partial and unofficial vote counts show that congressional allies and endorsed candidates of Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte are leading in the city’s congressional races in the 2025 midterm polls.
In the 1st District, re-electionist Rep. Arjo Atayde leads with 69,951 votes, ahead of former congressman Bingbong Crisologo, who has 49,843 votes, based on partial results from 183 election returns, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) as of 9 a.m. Tuesday.
In the 2nd District, re-electionist Rep. Ralph Tulfo, son of Senator Raffy Tulfo, is set for a second term with 143,423 votes — a wide margin over his three challengers — with 297 election returns already counted.
District 3’s re-electionist Rep. Franz Pumaren also holds the lead with 61,132 votes against comeback candidate Allan Reyes, who has 45,968.
In District 4, a close race is unfolding between incumbent Rep. Marvin Rillo, who leads with 70,853 votes, and former lawmaker Bong Suntay, who has 70,821 votes, with 206 election returns tallied.
In District 5, congressional candidate Rose Nono Lin has conceded defeat to re-electionist PM Vargas. Vargas received 80,690 votes to Lin’s 72,262 from 242 election returns.
In the newly created District 6 (Tandang Sora), incumbent Rep. Marivic Co-Pilar ran unopposed and garnered 129,385 votes, with a 70.61 percent voter turnout.
