A delegation from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health is set to arrive next week to recruit 500 Filipino health workers, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) confirmed.

DMW Director for Pre-Employment and Government Placement Bureau Rosemarie Duquez said the recruitment will follow a government-to-government arrangement. This means applicants will apply directly to the DMW, without going through a private recruitment agency.

The job comes with a monthly salary starting at SAR 4,110 — equivalent to around P50,000 to P55,000 — plus free food and accommodation. The salary is also tax-free.

To qualify, applicants must hold a degree in Nursing or Midwifery, have a valid PRC license, at least one year of relevant experience, and a work gap not exceeding two years. They also need to submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae with a colored passport-sized photo, employment certificates (past and present), a valid passport, two recent 2x2 ID photos, a certificate from the DMW online PEOS (available on the DMW website), and a printed copy of the Workers Information Sheet or E-Registration form from the same site.

Interviews will be held from Monday, 5 May, to Friday at the Saudi Recruitment Office in Makati City.
