The local government of Quezon City announced Wednesday that more than 11,000 job opportunities will be available at its 2025 Labor Day Job Fair on 1 May, as the city aims to promote inclusive employment.
In a statement, the local government disclosed that approximately 100 private companies and government agencies from various industries will participate in the job fair, which will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the QC Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibitions Center at city hall.
“Through this job fair, we are delivering on our commitment to create a city where every resident has access to decent, meaningful work,” said the local govenrment. “In Quezon City, we believe that employment is not just a livelihood — it is empowerment, dignity, and a pathway to a better future.”
Major employers participating include Abacus Book & Card Corporation (National Bookstore), Andok’s Litson Corporation, Asia Brewery Inc., Global Officium Limited, Inc. (Hotel SOGO), Max’s Kitchen Inc., JAC Liner Company, Robinsons Supermarket Corporation, Sanford Marketing Corporation (Savemore Market), Savory Fastfood Inc. (Classic Savory), Super Shopping Market Inc. (SM Hypermarket), Super Value Inc. (SM Supermarket), Solaire Resort North, UnionBank, and Zest-O Corporation, among others.
Available positions include customer service representatives, office staff, cashiers, drivers, service crew, sales associates, merchandisers, electricians, encoders and kitchen staff.
The local government advised applicants to bring multiple copies of their updated résumé, a valid ID and to dress appropriately for interviews. Free résumé printing services will be available on-site.
