BACOLOD CITY — Two individuals yielded P1.836-million shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mansilingan here Monday night.
In a report on Tuesday, the Bacolod City Police Office City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) identified the suspects as alias “Toto,” 40, and his companion, alias “Totong,” 48, both residents of Purok Manayawsayaw in the same village.
According to the report, Toto sold a sachet of shabu worth P1,000 to an undercover policeman at around 8:40 p.m.
Operatives also seized three knot-tied and six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 270 grams of shabu pegged at P6,800 per gram from the suspect.
Both suspects are detained at Police Station 7.
Charges are being readied against Toto for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, particularly Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs); and violation of Section 26 (attempt or conspiracy) for Totong.
