Commuters are advised that Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2 (LRT-1 and LRT-2), Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3), and the Philippine National Railways (PNR) will halt operations for the Holy Week break.
The suspension will run from Maundy Thursday, 17 April, to Easter Sunday, 20 April. Normal operations will resume on Monday, 21 April.
According to the operators, the suspension period will be used to conduct maintenance activities.
Meanwhile, on 16 April, train operating hours will be extended, with the last trips departing at 10:30 p.m. from North Avenue Station and 11:09 p.m. from Taft Avenue Station.
The PNR, which serves the provinces of Laguna, Quezon, Camarines Sur, and Albay, has also announced a revised schedule for its Bicol Commuter Train, effective 14 April. Under the updated timetable, trips will begin as early as 5:20 a.m., with the final departures scheduled until 5:30 p.m.
