La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) lived to fight another day as it pulled off a 94-91 win over University of Perpetual Help System Dalta in Game 2 of Season 100 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) juniors basketball finals on Sunday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

Graduating star player Guillian Quines led the Greenies with a double-double game of 35 points and 11 rebounds as they tied the best-of-three championship series to 1-1.

LSGH and Perpetual square off one more time for Game 3 on Tuesday at the same San Juan venue.

Despite a 90-89 lead by the Greenies with 25.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Jan Roluna was able to get a steal and a layup to take the lead for the Junior Altas.

Migs Osis then scored the last four points for LSGH after making a layup with 20.9 seconds left in the game and converted two free throws with 10 ticks left.

Osis had 16 points for the Greenies while Gian Gomez had 12 points.

Meanwhile, San Beda University pounded bitter rival Letran College, 74-59, to clinch the bronze medal.
