Malolos City, Bulacan — The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) will begin construction this year on the Bulacan segment of the Northern Access Link Expressway Phase 1.
TRB executive director Alvin Carullo said the Department of Environment and Natural Resources has issued the Environmental Clearance Certificate, allowing construction to proceed.
The Bulacan segment of NALEX Phase 1 will connect Tullahan in Valenzuela City to the New Manila International Airport in Bulakan, Bulacan. The TRB approved the NALEX project in May 2022, with the first phase scheduled for completion by 2028.
A key part of the project includes the construction of a left-turning viaduct at the Skyway Stage 3 terminus in Balintawak, Caloocan City, leading towards Valenzuela City and Obando, Bulacan.
