EXO’s Kai is making a splash this summer with fresh, exciting music, sending waves of excitement through EXO-Ls worldwide.

On 3 April, the K-pop star unveiled the music video for Adult Swim, a pre-release single from his upcoming mini-album Wait On Me, marking the first step in his highly anticipated comeback.

The video showcases a blonde-haired Kai lounging at a public pool, seamlessly transitioning into scenes of his signature sharp, fluid, and powerful dance moves.

Adult Swim — his first release since enlisting in the military — is an upbeat pop track featuring an energetic yet simple drum loop.

The lyrics metaphorically depict two people diving fearlessly into deep, romantic emotions, much like swimming together beneath the surface.

Returning two years after the release of his third mini-album Rover in March 2023, Kai is set to captivate global fans with a more mature presence while maintaining his signature refreshing charm. His full comeback is slated for 21 April, heightening anticipation for what he has in store.

Adding to the excitement, Kai is set to embark on his solo concert tour, KAION, with a stop in Manila on 27 July.

Kai, whose real name is Kim Jong-in, debuted with EXO in 2012 before launching his solo career in 2020 with his self-titled EP, featuring the hit lead track Mmmh.
