IN a collaborative effort to empower local communities and preserve Ayta culture, the BCDA, Hann Philippines Inc., and Hann Foundation Inc. have joined forces to build a P5-million multi-purpose pavilion within the upcoming Ayta Ethno-Botanical Center in New Clark City, Tarlac.

New Clark City — The Bases Conversion and Development Corporation (BCDA) and Hann Foundation Inc. (HFI) are set to build a P5-million multi-purpose pavilion in New Clark City, Tarlac.
In a social media post on Saturday, BCDA announced that this project is a collaborative effort aimed at empowering local communities and preserving Ayta culture.
The pavilion, which will be located within the upcoming Ayta Ethno Botanical Center (AEBC), will serve as a vital community hub for training, meetings, assemblies, exhibits, and other activities focused on safeguarding Ayta heritage.
A memorandum of agreement formalizing the partnership was signed by BCDA president and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang, HFI executive director Ana Christi G. Galura, and HPI director of Corporate Finance Sheila M. Rivera.
AEBC will be developed in three phases. Phase 1 will feature the multi-purpose pavilion, a ceremonial ground, a market, a coffee shop, a tamarind orchard, a coffee farm, and a pond. Phase 2 will include a mango orchard, picnic areas, and natural trails. Phase 3 will introduce rice terraces, a bamboo grove, a dormitory, and a viewing deck.
