Former Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan met with key members and volunteers of the Kiko-Bam Core Group on Wednesday over lunch at here to reinforce the campaign’s grassroots movement ahead of the 2025 elections.
Pangilinan expressed his appreciation of the volunteers, acknowledging their crucial role in engaging communities and amplifying the campaign’s core advocacy: Hello Pagkain sa Mababang Presyo (Affordable Food for All).
“This campaign is not just about one candidate — it’s about collective action toward more affordable food and a better future for everyone,” Pangilinan said. “It’s clear to us: hunger doesn’t discriminate based on color. That’s why we must fight even harder for the solution.”
The event served as a strategy session, where organizers and volunteers shared insights on voter engagement, social media mobilization, and community-based initiatives focusing on the urgent need to lower food prices.
Pangilinan, who has been actively advocating for solutions to the country’s food crisis, emphasized the importance of direct public participation in shaping policies.
“You are the voice of this campaign. This is not just a fight for the candidates — it is everyone’s fight for more affordable food and better opportunities for every Filipino,” he said.
With a growing network of volunteers and a campaign centered on advocacy, the Hello Pagkain sa Mababang Presyo movement continues to gain momentum, uniting people from all walks of life in the fight for a brighter future.
