M4 World Championship MVP Benedict "Bennyqt" is about to make his TNC Pro Team debut at MPL Season 15.
A former world champion and a two-time MPL champion, Bennyqt brings a wealth of experience to the revamped TNC roster, which includes Yawi, Zaida, LanceCy, Lord JM, and Kouzen.
"THE TYPHOON COMETH. A World Champion. The M4 Finals MVP. A 2-time MPL Champion," TNC announced on its official Facebook page.
"He is known as the Bagyong Benny, but this time, he will be the one to ignite the fire in the Phoenix's lair. Phoenix Army, get ready as we welcome the arrival of Bennyqt in our team!"
After a winless campaign in Season 14 and a loss at the hands of ONIC PH in Week 1 of the current season, TNC bounced back with three straight wins against Bren, Omega, and Twisted Minds.
TNC, however, is currently on a two-game losing skid, having fallen to Team Falcons and Aurora in Week 3 of MPL Season 15.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Tribune, TNC partner Naser "Akosi Dogie" Mollazehi stated that the gold lane will be swapped between Kouzen and Bennyqt depending on their performance.
"If Kouzen does not perform, Bennyqt will replace him. If Bennyqt does not perform, Kouzen will replace him right away. All of them are eager to showcase their skills on stage," Akosi Dogie said.
