Akbayan women holds wreath-laying for Women’s Month
Members of Akbayan Women conducted a wreath-laying ceremony at Plaza Salamanca in Manila on Friday, 7 March 2025, to mark Women's Month and highlight women's roles in legislative victories.
The group is also calling for more laws to empower women, including the passage of the Expanded VAWC Law to cover online harassment and strengthen existing protections against violence.
