
Johanna Blair Uyking emerged as the overall champion in the 2025 Sta. Lucia Teens Tour Golf, clinching the title in a playoff round on Sunday, 2 March at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club.
The 13-year-old Uyking secured the victory over Nino Villacencio, who was several years her senior, after both finished with identical 104 Molave points over two rounds. The tournament's first round was played at their home course, South Pacific Golf Club Davao, before concluding at Rancho Palos Verdes.
In the playoff, Uyking birdied the par-5 18th hole, while Villacencio settled for par, sealing her triumph.
On their way to the playoff, Uyking recorded consecutive rounds of 52, while Villacencio tallied 53 and 51.
Despite falling short in the overall title, Villacencio dominated the Boys 17-19 category, besting closest rival Aldrien "Tiger" Gialon, who finished with scores of 55 and 48 for a total of 103 points.

Chris Guerrero of Golf Mix, along with Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club General Manager Marlon Tabanao and South Pacific Golf Club Davao General Manager Elson Alvaran, awarded the trophies to the winners.
“We are happy as most teen winners are from South Pacific Golf Davao. Our Junior Golf Program is still in the ongoing as we aim to develop and train more junior golfers who in the future can join national and international competitions,” Alvaran said.
