Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 hits theaters 18 July

On Saturday, 1 March, Aniplex officially confirmed the thrilling news that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Part 1 will hit theaters in Japan on 18 July 2025!

This marks the first epic chapter of the grand finale of the Demon Slayer anime series, and fans can finally mark their calendars for this highly anticipated release!

The confirmation matches previous hints of a 2025 window, giving us all something to look forward to as we dive back into the heart-pounding battle between Tanjiro Kamado, the Hashiras, and the fierce Upper Moons, not to mention the terrifying demon king, Muzan Kibutsuji.

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, this movie promises to bring us jaw-dropping action, emotional depth, and mind-blowing animation from ufotable, the studio that’s behind the anime’s stunning visuals.

The fan-favorite characters are back in action — Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the mighty Hashiras like Giyu, Sanemi, Mitsuri, and Gyomei — all gearing up for an unforgettable showdown with Muzan and his elite demons!

It’s been over six years since the anime first premiered in April 2019, and Demon Slayer: Mugen Train already blew us away by becoming Japan’s highest-grossing film. With this new installment, we’re in for more breathtaking animation, emotional rollercoasters, and an epic battle that will change the fate of the Demon Slayer Corps forever.

While we now know the Japanese release date, we’re still waiting on international details. But given how fast things moved in the past, global fans can expect exciting updates in the coming months! Get ready for the ride of a lifetime — it’s almost here!
