ABAP urges Marcial to make tough choice
As Muslim Filipinos mark the Holy Month of Ramadan, Vice President Sara Duterte on Saturday reminded them to reflect on the values of sacrifices and obedience.
"In the name of Allah, the most gracious and merciful, may mercy, peace and blessings be upon our Muslim brothers and sisters across the country and around the world during the Holy Month of Ramadan," Duterte said in her Ramadan message.
"As we mark this holy month of fasting for Muslim Filipinos, we are all called to reflect on the values of sacrifice and obedience as cornerstones to a path leading to enlightenment and grace," the Vice President added.
She also urged Muslim Filipinos to "help us pray for peace and forgiveness as we navigate every adversity we face in our personal lives and as a nation."
"May the spirit of Ramadan guide your prayers and reflections while we look forward with profound hope and optimism to an inclusive and dignified future for every Filipino," the Vice President added.
