NLEX toll rate increase effective on 2 March

The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) will implement new toll rates starting 2 March, NLEX Corporation announced.

Under the adjustment, the NLEX open system — which covers areas from Balintawak to Marilao, Bulacan — will see an increase of P5 for Class 1 vehicles, P13 for Class 2 vehicles, and P15 for Class 3 vehicles.

With the increase, the new toll fees for the open system will be P79 for Class 1 vehicles, P199 for Class 2, and P238 for Class 3 vehicles.

Recently, NLEX Corporation announced investments in new speed cameras to enhance traffic law enforcement and address speeding hazards. Other improvements include the replacement of toll lane computers and the installation of a Plaza Computer System and Video Enhancement System servers at NLEX and SCTEX.
