DigiPlus sets global expansion in motion with Singapore hub

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (DigiPlus Interactive), the Philippines’ digital entertainment pioneer, is expanding beyond its home market with plans to establish DigiPlus Global Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. 

The move, approved by its Board of Directors on Wednesday, accelerates the company’s international growth through strategic partnerships, talent acquisition, and corporate support.

DigiPlus Global will be wholly owned by Diginvest Holdings Inc., a subsidiary of DigiPlus Interactive. It will serve as a regional hub focused on strategic partnerships, talent acquisition, and corporate support.  

“Singapore is a world-class hub for business, technology, and talent, making it an ideal base for our global initiatives,” DigiPlus Interactive Chairman Eusebio Tanco said. 

“With the incorporation of DigiPlus Global, we are strengthening our ability to attract top-tier professionals, forge strategic alliances, and enhance our international presence, all while remaining deeply committed to our home market in the Philippines.” 

DigiPlus Interactive operates leading digital entertainment platforms, including BingoPlus, the country’s first government-approved online bingo platform; ArenaPlus, a premier sportsbook; and GameZone, a growing casual and arcade gaming platform. 

However, DigiPlus Global will strictly focus on corporate support functions and will not engage in iGaming operations in Singapore, in full compliance with local regulations.  

Last month, DigiPlus Interactive, through its wholly owned subsidiary DigiPlus Brazil Interactive Ltda., received the federal license to operate sports betting and other online games in Brazil.

DigiPlus is among only 10 percent of applicants granted a Definitive Authority from the Secretariat of Awards and Bets.

Despite its pursuit of portfolio diversification in new markets with favorable iGaming regulatory environments, DigiPlus has reaffirmed that the Philippines remains its primary focus.
